Some patients report mild discomfort from the needle while Dr. Stapenhorst is performing the Juvederm® treatments. Patients may also experience redness, tenderness and mild pain at the injection sites. These symptoms typically resolve within three days. Other symptoms include firmness, swelling, bumps and bruises that resolve within seven days.
