Tummy Tucks in Rosenberg, TX

If you have a protruding or sagging stomach, you can benefit from a tummy tuck. Signature Plastic Surgery offer Tummy Tucks to residents of Rosenberg, TX.

Whether it is due to pregnancy, rapid weight loss, aging, or surgery, excess skin around the abdomen can be corrected with a tummy tuck. Before you undergo the procedure, Dr. Stapenhorst will give you advice on preparing for surgery.

During your tummy tuck you will be placed under a general anesthetic. Dr. Stapenhorst will then remove excess skin and fat, before tightening the muscles. For the first week following your procedure, you will be advised to rest as much as possible. Gentle movements will be encouraged to prevent the onset of clots, but the primary goal will be to prevent strain around the surgical site. You will need to attend a follow-up appointment, where Dr. Stapenhorst will check on your progress.

You should be able to resume light activities and exercise after two weeks. You should also expect to wear a support garment. During the recovery period, it is normal to experience some pain; this can be addressed with pain killers.

Signature Plastic Surgery offers Rosenberg, TX residents both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, and will be more than pleased to assist you in achieving the look you want via a tummy tuck. You can contact us at 281-616-8800 with any questions you might have or to set up an appointment with our professional staff.

Dear Patients,

I am announcing the closure of my practice, Signature Plastic Surgery. Effective December 31, 2022, I
will be moving on to a new practice opportunity. I have enjoyed serving the people of Sugar Land since
2008. This has been a difficult decision for me to make, but I am looking forward to the new
opportunity, and I know that I will look back fondly on the past 14 years.
